39 STEPS EXHIBITION
Here's a little inkling of what happened...

'39 STEPS' ART EXHIBITION
What are the 39 Steps....? In reality, the 39 steps is the name of an exhibition by 4 artists based in Montpelier, Bristol.

We aim to open our Studio to the public over a long weekend and present our work in gallery form.
2 Girls, 2 Guys, 4 different styles and a common interest in urban art. We hesitate to use the term 'Street Art' and strive to give Graffiti it's broadest interpretation, we love spraypaint and believe urban decay provides a valid canvas, so call it what you will!

June 7-10 INSURGENT ART MASSIVE
One year on, Bristol witnessed its 3rd autonomous art exhibition; just a stones throw away from the City's main Art Gallery, the Arnolfini.
The empty warehouse was successfully squatted on the Monday night, however by Wednesday lunchtime police had gained entry to the premises, with the buildings owner and things were looking a little bleak, that is until Police were alerted to a 'bomb scare' in the city centre. A world war 2 Bomb gave us the break we'd been looking for, Police bailed quick-time to rousing applause from the Insurgent Artists, and the 'Plod' courteously bid us a good day!
