The Camerton Community Hall is situated in the Village of Camerton approximately 14 miles from Bristol, 5 miles from Bath and 3 miles from Midsomer Norton.
The hall and grounds are set in the Mendips and provides wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, making it an ideal venue for wedding receptions, parties, special functions, sport events and weekend camping events.
Camerton village was known to be a farming and mining community throughout the 1900’s. Back in the 1920’s the Camerton Miners Welfare Institute set up a village club situated in a wooden hut in East Meadgate. Many community clubs and events took place there and outside events were held further down the road in the recreation ground which has now become the site of the Camerton Community Hall.
